Your skydive will take place at the Irish Parachute Club; Clonbullogue Airfield, Clonad, Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly, R45 RT99. Google Maps location
Please arrive at 9:30am as you will need to complete training and fill in some forms before you board the plane.
How it works
- On arrival, you will be asked to sign in and fill out a few forms.
- Next you will be asked to watch a health and safety video.
- The parachute club will assign participants into groups that will go in the plane together, and what order these groups will go up. Only participants that are on-site and have completed the sign-in process can be allocated to a group.
- When it is your group’s turn, an announcement will be made asking you to enter the hangar. In the hangar, you will meet your tandem instructor and receive your jumpsuit, harness and goggles.
- Your tandem instructor will take you through all stages of the jump and do some simple training with you (your instructor does all the work during the skydive, don’t worry!).
- When it is time to get on the plane, you will go with your instructor, who will tell you where to sit. You will be connected to your instructor when you are in the plane.
- The plane will climb to between 10,000 and 13,000 feet, and then the pilot will give the go-ahead to jump. Your instructor will take you to the plane door when it is your turn. Your instructor will operate the parachute and do all the work, leaving you to enjoy the experience!
